Raghuganga Hydropower Limited (RGHPL) was established in 2017 March with an aim of power generation of 40 MW in Gandaki Province of Myagdi District, Nepal. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) own cent percent share of this project. EXIM bank of India has provide the soft loan for this projects.
The annual energy generation from the plant is about 247.89 GWh, of which 137.71GWh is firm energy in 90 % dependable year. The plant is capable of producing peaking power over the dry season during a 6 hour peaking period at its full installed capacity.
Generated power from Raghuganga Hydroelectric project will be evacuated through a 0.6 Km long 220 KV(Double circuit) Transmission line to connect RGHEP Power House switchyard to Dana Kushma line under scope of Dana Kushma 220KV Transmission Line Project.
